Privacy policy

What we collect

• Deal submissions: the link and details you enter, plus your email if you give it.
• Deal Alerts: your email, keywords and filters. Alerts send only after you confirm by email.
• Votes: a salted hash so one person gets one vote per deal. We don't store raw IP addresses with votes.
• Deal clicks: counted once per deal per day with a salted hash that changes daily, to rank Popular. No IP address is stored and counts are never shown.
• Accounts: username, email (never shown), a scrambled password, an optional backup code, your submissions and points.
• Login cookies: __Host-ff_sess (login), __Host-ff_csrf (form safety) and ff_user (shows your name), only after you log in. No ad or tracking cookies of ours.
• Basic logs: standard server logs kept by our hosting provider for security.

Affiliate links and cookies

When you click "Get Deal", the store or affiliate network may set cookies to credit us for the sale. See our affiliate disclosure.

Your choices

Accounts: we keep your username, email, scrambled password, points and finds until you delete the account. Use "Delete my account" on your account page; your published finds stay, shown as [deleted].

Every alert email has a one-click unsubscribe. To delete your data, email [email protected].
